Voidcrew Rules


  1. Whatever the admins say is final.

  2. Dont be a dick.
    1. Dont excessively hamper someones round if they aren't an enemy faction.
    2. No racism, bigotry, or hate speech.
    3. No ERP, excessive creepiness, shock value content, gore, or spam.

  3. Roleplay Standards
    1. Do not talk about in game events in OOC until the round has ended. You can however advertise your ship in OOC.
    2. This is "light-roleplay", not "no-roleplay".
      1. Do not reference meta-stuff about the server. This means no mentioning CKEYs, admin helps, admins, the server, etc.
      2. You can use emojis, leetchat, and cultural references in game. 'Amongus', 'bruh', 'valid', ':)', etc are all ok.
    3. Ship join messages can elevate gameplay and roleplay, allowing you to set restrictions on your ship that are enforceable via PVP.
      1. If someone joins your ship and disregards the join message, they can be executed or deserted.
      2. Ship join messages must be reasonable and give everyone a chance to play. Some examples of valid messages include:
        1. This is a high roleplay ship, any new joins must act like their character.
        2. This is a IPC ship. Any new joins must be IPCs.
        3. This is a dungeons and dragons ship, anyone joining must contribute to the game.
      3. Invalid join messages include:
        1. You must have [X] hours playing
        2. This is a solo ship, don't join.
      4. You can not set hard requirement join messages on round start ships, they are not enforceable and can get you bwoinked.

  4. Factions
    1. Neutral ships (labeled NEU) cannot fight or be fought. Don't steal from or raid neutral ships.
    2. To participate in PVP, you must have a factioned ship
      1. NT-C can fight SYN-C and KOS
      2. SYN-C can fight NT-C and KOS
      3. KOS ships can fight NT-C, SYN-C, and KOS
    3. You cannot join a ship just to make it KOS and then leave.
    4. You cannot use information from when you are dead. Do not identify ship coordinates as a ghost and use them later.

  5. Antagonists
    1. Team Antagonists
      1. Team antagonists like cult, revs, and xenos must focus on their objectives.
      2. Cultists and revs must convert rather than murder where possible.
      3. Team antags are not restricted by factions and can convert any ship.
      4. Team antagonists are allowed to be hunted and killed by any player, regardless of faction.
    2. Admin spawned solo antags are not bound by factions and unless stated otherwise can freely kill anyone.
    3. Naturally spawned solo antagonists like skeletons, wishgranter antags, and wizards are bound by faction rules. NEUs are off limits.

  6. Respawning rules
    1. Respawn is enabled on this server. Avoid deadchat salt, you can be back in just a few minutes.
    2. Do NOT metagrudge your teammates. If you have a conflict, it is resolved when one of you die.
    3. You lose ALL your memories if you respawn as anything other than the same character.
      1. Ghost roles are included in this. Skeletons don't remember their past lives as humans, same with drones, new characters via cryo, etc.

  7. Video content, streaming, etc is allowed and encouraged!
